Lauren Conrad Goes Old Hollywood For Teen Vogue's 2010 Young Hollywood Party

Lauren Conrad Mixes Old and Young For Teen Vogue's Party

Lauren Conrad brought a little Old Hollywood glamour with her to the weekend's annual Teen Vogue Young Hollywood Party, wearing her hair all Veronica Lake-y and adding in a divine berry lip and winged eyeliner. Sure it's not the first time we've seen the '40s make an appearance on the red carpet, but how do you feel about it popping up to say "hi" at an event that's about all the now? Imma say, I like it. At least she looked glam and didn't just wear her Granny's jumper (Agyness). Even Alexa Chung looked a bit same-same and then there's LC's old co-star, Lo Bosworth, who was like totally Gen Y. She wore her hair in a ponytail. And not a wet-look Lanvin one either. Just a plain-hair-wrapped-around one. No effort at all, those Gen Y-ers. No wonder Lauren went old skool. What say you? Do you rate her new-meets-old look?
