The Science Behind This Super-Lengthening Mascara

Did you know that Max Factor’s latest mascara innovation, Lash Extension Effect Mascara, increases lash length by up to 75 percent? Insane!

It’s all to do with the longer-than-ever wand, which I’ll tell you more about later this week, and Max Factor’s Liquid Lash Extension that glides onto each and every lash with ease, adhering without any stickiness.

I was asking Katherine Conyers, National Max Factor Makeup Artist, the other day about lengthening lashes as I get hounded on average, every 0.86 seconds, about lash lengthening tips. It’s the million dollar question.

She recommended this latest mascara as the best way to achieve show-stopping length because the formula features nylon particles, which allow the mascara formula to “stretch” and increase the length of the lashes. I have to say that I agree, I’ve been using this since launch and constantly get asked if I’m wearing extensions. I do have long lashes naturally but I’ve been told that they have gotten even longer! Not bad for $23.95.
