Naomi Watts' Blunt Hair at the Salt Premiere and How to Copy It
Hair How-To: Get Naomi Watts's Studio 54-Inspired Hairstyle
If you think Naomi Watts's blunt, razored style at the Salt premiere had a Studio 54 vibe to it, you'd be right. That's exactly the feel stylist Robert Vetica was going for when he created her hairstyle. Inspired by Naomi's metallic Gucci minidress, Vetica also added a bit of '60s British pop vibe to the style. LOVE. Here's how to get it.
The cut: Vetica started by cutting two inches off of Naomi's hair. (If you want a similar cut, ask your stylist for a blunt style that falls at the collarbone, with the front being slightly longer than the back.) As for the side-sweeping bangs, Vetica cut them long and blunt and then texturized them with a razor so they'd swoop to the side with ease.
Prep: Vetica applied Moroccanoil Light ($55) — which will be available in Australia from September 1 — to smooth, detangle and tame frizz.

The finish: Finally, spritz on hairspray for hold. "I did a couple of quick mists from about six inches, then put a comb through the hair right away to loosen the look while keeping its hold," Vetica said.
