Nude Eyeliner vs. White Eyeliner

Turn Around Bright Eyes: Brighten With a Natural-Toned Liner

For years I used to think that I was really clever using white eyeliner to water-line my eyes for a brightening effect. But it turns out, I wasn't that smart at all. As a makeup artist once pointed out, white eyeliner is actually, well, quite obvious. It's almost too bright. And too "look-at-me". Instead, this pro suggested a nude liner. It has the same whitening and brightening effects but on a much softer scale. The look is much more natural-looking and, whenever I hear people talking about the perks of white eyeliner, I can't help but say yes, it's good, but nude is better. Sorry to play favourites, but it's true. Try the buff end of Becca Line and Define Pencil in Navy/Buff ($42).
