Its crystals have been seen in some lust-have, high-end beauty products — Dior's Cristal Boréal Crystal Gloss Jewel, Lancôme's Limited Edition L'Absolu Rouge Lipstick and Estée Lauder's Pure White Linen Juke Box to name a few — but this is the first time that a Swarovski jewel has sat atop its own brand's fragrance.
Earlier this week, we were invited to preview Aura, Swarovski's debut fragrance at Swarovski's Westfield Sydney store, and while not as covered in crystals as some fans may hope, the flacon will still cut a sleek figure amongst other perfumes with its slimline design, pretty pink juice and eye-catching jewel lid. Featuring amber, benzoin, white musk, lychee, white tuberose and pink pepper, Swarovski's scent is a beautiful blend of fruity, floral and spicy notes.
More delicate than we were expecting, it's got signature scent written all over it. What do you think of the bottle design? Are you excited to smell the fragrance?
Aura Eau de Parfum will be available in 30ml ($90), 50ml ($120) and 100ml ($150) refillables at selected Swarovski boutiques April 24 and Myer and
David Jones from August 7.
