Poor Cyndi Lauper Had An Allergic Reaction to a Spa Treatment!

Girls Just Wanna Have Fresh Skin: Cyndi's Bad Spa Reaction

Time after time (sorry, I couldn't resist) I talk about the perks of the patch test. Whether you're dying your hair, getting a spray tan or testing out a new product or treatment, it is ESSENTIAL that you road-test the formulation on your skin first.

Experts often recommend the area behind your ear, the inside of your elbow or your inner wrist. And if you won't listen to me, at least listen to Cyndi Lauper who was snapped with a very sore-looking, inflamed red face over the weekend. The cause? "A bad reaction to a spa treatment," according to her rep. Eek! Poor Cyndi, it looks SO painful. We're wishing the MAC lady a speedy recovery. How about you, have you ever have a bad reaction to something? Or do you always do a patch test? Will you now? Tell us in the comments . . .
