Pharmacy Find: Blistex Soothe & Smoothe SPF 30+

Hello and welcome to a brand new section of Bella. In this weekly segment we'll be filling you in on the little gems that we find in our local pharmacy. Because we feel that the pharmacy has been kind of overlooked: it's not Priceline (aka the one-stop-shop for bathroom essentials), it's not the department store (where the fancy ladies shop all the time and we shop the day after pay day) and it's where Granny shops. The newest "lip experience" to join to the Blistex family, for me, is like a cheaper version of the amazing Dermalogica Age Smart Renewal Lip Complex ($49).

Basically it's a soothing and moisturising gel that you twist out, but here's the thing, the top of packaging has a textured applicator that works to smoothe away any rough bits. It tingles a bit, but not in an uncomfortable or bad way. And as well as containing all the usual moisturising suspects (jojoba, sunflower oil, shea butter), Soothe and Smoothe features SPF 30+. It's accelerated the ranks to earn the elite status of Handbag Essential. LOVE.
