I'll be honest. Until the L’Oreal Paris Colour Riche Anti-Age Serum launch earlier this year, I'd always had my beef with L’Oreal lipsticks. Not the formula or anything like that. They felt silky, wore well and didn't dry out my lips, but for me, a bold and brights junkie, they just didn't cut it. The colours seemed a little muted and dated. Sigh. I like my colour to pack a punch and normally, I turn to NARS or MAC because of this, but I'm thrilled to say that L'Oreal's new Colour Riche Intense range fits the bill. I am in love with Red Passion 297. The perfect scarlet. You have to build it, but it really holds its pigment. It's creamy as you'd expect — it's the exact same formula as the original Colour Riche range — but you can easily mattify it. Also ah-mazing is Intense Fuchsia 288. A half-price dupe of NARS Schiap. LOVE. And the shallow part in me hearts that the brand name is imprinted on the lipstick. Very Chanel. Try it and see.
