Review of Neutrogena Rapid Clear® 2-in-1 Fight & Fade Spot Gel

Reader Reviews: Neutrogena Rapid Clear® 2-in-1 Fight & Fade Spot Gel

It seems like there are a million products out there claiming to put you on the path to complexion perfection, but do they actually work?

We put a shout out for Bella readers who wanted clear skin in time for party season and those who shared their worst acne moment with us got to trial Neutrogena Rapid Clear® 2-in-1 Fight & Fade Spot Gel ($16.99). Here's what Lucy from NSW thought of it:

"I have pretty sensitive skin and often get pimples around my jaw line. I tried out Rapid Clear Fight and Fade 1-2 times a day on this problem area and found it quickly helped my skin clear up. I was most impressed by the speed with which it worked. A problem pimple which may last a couple of days and only clear up fully after a week was completely clear in half that time when I used the product. It really went straight to work and didn’t let any of those suckers linger."

"I’ve been looking for a product like this that targets older acne markings for a while now as I have a tendency to pick at blemishes – I know, I know, it’s bad! I put this on, twice a day and found that after 10 days, the markings had reduced in colour. I found it took a little longer than eight hours to clear a stubborn spot but it definitely cleared up quicker than using nothing at all."

Jennifer from VIC thought:

"I had a HUGE spot on my forehead on Thursday night. I slipped this on in the evening and I could already see that it had reduced in size (and pain!) by Friday morning. By Friday night it was practically gone and much easier to cover up, I won’t go anywhere without it now!"

Lana from ACT said:

"I bike everywhere. To work and off-road on the weekends. So the combination of bike helmet and sweat causes me much grief. As in constant breakouts on my forehead. First, I tried the Fight & Fade overnight and by morning saw instant results. The inflamed areas were less red and less noticeable. And I’ve been applying twice a day (morning and night) for a week and I haven’t had any new eruptions. My skin feels a bit more dry, but I rather that than huge zits."

Here's what Carolyn from NSW thought of it:

"This saves a lot of time, effort and money as it targets two problems with just one product. It goes on easily and doesn’t sting, quickly helping to clear skin and fade older scars. Well worth the money."

Natalie from NSW said:

"My skin tends to be pretty OK, which only makes spots stand out more when I do get them. I’m always keen to get rid of them straight away so that they don’t ruin my night! I’ve always been a bit sceptical of spot gels to be honest, thinking that they didn’t work or they’re designed for younger skin than mine – I’m 28. But I was really pleasantly surprised after trialling this. You only need a small amount so it’s really cost-effective and it dried up pimples quickly and effectively. I’d definitely re-purchase so that I have it on hand for those emergency breakouts!"
