Five hours later and here I am at my desk. I caught the bus to work, ate breakfast, had a coffee and went straight into meeting to bring me up to speed after two weeks in New York City.
As you can see I look lovely and dewy (read: oily!). This is typical for me as I have oily skin but usually only around my T-zone.
Try as I might to be calm, I get pretty stressed at work. Stress and oily skin don't really get along because when you're stressed, your adrenal glands go into overdrive and produce cortisol, a stress hormone. This pumps around your body and also causes skin to overproduce in the sebum (oil) department. But enough health class, back to the foundation!
Because I get so stressed oily, I like to blot with paper during the day rather than reapply product. So that's what I did after I took this picture.
