Review of bareMinerals Well-Rested

Bella Reviews: bareMinerals Well-Rested

When bareMinerals Well-Rested ($79) landed on my desk yesterday I had to try it because I haven't been sleeping well. And thus am looking as far from well-rested as La Lohan when she has her party pants on.

What is it? An eye-brightening shadow base.

Come again. A loose powder that, when applied around the eye area, magically says good riddance to signs of morningitus like eye bags, puffiness and dark circles.

Tell me more. It’s made with 100 percent pure minerals and is free from preservatives, talc, oils and fragrance making it perfect for those with sensitive skin (some say not so great for the more mature lady as the powdery formula can ‘sit’ in wrinkles). It’s a top 2-in-1: excellent eyeshadow base and flawless complexion concealer; the finish is so natural that the words “second-skin” spring to mind.

How should I apply it? Tip a small amount into the lid, then swirl a large concealer brush into the powder and buff the product under and around the eye.

One last thing . . . It can also be used for concealing dark shadows around the nose and lips.
