Sara on MasterChef
Looking good under pressure is no mean feat, especially when that pressure involves recreating a dish from a two-hatted restaurant in Sydney! But Sara Oteri, the latest contestant to be eliminated from MasterChef, always managed to look good in the kitchen, even when dealing with brioche that wouldn't rise and liquid butternut gnocchi that wouldn't form into perfect spheres! Yes, we know it's about their cooking skills and not appearances, but we couldn't help but notice Sara's perfect black eyeliner, which always stayed in place and had a brilliant amount of flick.
When we spoke to Sara this morning, she shared her winged liner secrets, saying, "It's definitely a good product and a good brush, but with the technique you have to start from the eye, and then flick out, and then go back in and make a triangle. And then fill it in." She also revealed the product she uses for her everyday look: "I use a Napoleon Perdis pot, like a little jar thing. It's kind of like a gel."
