2010 Fall New York Fashion Week: Diane Von Furstenberg
In a week where we've gotten used to seeing one of two things (minimal eye makeup or rusty, grunge eye makeup), it's quite refreshing to have a return to the classic smoky eye. DVF's version is slightly less dominatrix than the L.A.M.B. variety, yet still fairly full-on with both slate and sooty greys being taken up to the brow bone (which FYI seems where eyeshadow is heading these days, so be prepared). I love the shimmering sparkly which we can see best on Abbey Lee Kershaw. Again the key accessory is flawless skin so invest in a good foundation.
