Spraying Fragrance in Public: A Do or a Don't

Do You Shun Fragrance to Avoid Offending People?

I have a confession to make: I am one of those really annoying people who sprays fragrances in public. I don't do it to offend – I just forget and before you know it, it's out there wafting around and getting up your nose (literally). I do it in cabs, in the office, in lifts, in bars. You name it, I've sprayed there.

It's actually quite mortifying to admit as I've choked on other people's aromas and often wondered why they felt the need to marinate themselves before the penny dropped and I realised that this is now me. I'm one of them.

Do you do this too? Or are you far more polite and consider others before you spritz? Maybe you're aware that beauty – or in this case, fragrance – is in the eye of the beholder and not everyone loves your Narciso Rodriguez scent. Quelle horreur. Either way, I want to know: do you avoid spritzing fragrance to avoid offending people?
