Everyone’s skin reacts differently to waxing and tanning. If you wax too close to a tan it can cause darker patches and also streaky lines if there is residue left on the skin. If you tint your brows and lashes this also needs to be done at least 48 hours prior – if it is done the same day the tan reacts with the oxidant and can cause the skin under the brows to turn orange for a few days — not a good look!
TIP: If you do get stuck and need to do brow tint on the same day as your tan, apply a thin layer of Vaseline over the brows before tanning to act as a barrier.
