Tom Ford Does Beauty For the It Girl in All of Us
Tom Ford is synonymous with red carpet glamour, but the beauty look at his Fall 2014 show had a bit of an edgier feel to it. Smudgy black liner was the focal point of the beauty look. Models had their eyes lined in a dark kohl liner, which was then smoked out with a grungy silver shade. Skin was kept bare, save for a touch of balm across the lips, calling to mind the downtown It girls we all try to emulate. Hair also aligned with this edgier idea. Strands were straight but had a bit of a frizzy texture, with long pieces hanging across the eyes. Nails were kept bare but shiny, bringing this entire I-look-good-but-don't-care style full circle. Someone call Cara Delevingne — someone's stealing her look.
