The Concealer Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Uses as Foundation
If you've got to pick out someone in the biz synonymous with serious glow, it won't take many rolls of the dice to land on Rosie Huntington-Whitely. But besides from obviously great genetics and a diligent self-care routine, we want to know what beauty products are responsible for her persistently-glowy complexion.
In a recent video for Rosie's beauty site, Rosie Inc, we got a snapshot into some of the products used to achieve her signature skin. And besides from the fact not all of us have access to a pro-artist like Katie Jane Hughes in our living room (did we mention we're jealous), the entire routine for what Rosie describes as, "Snapchat Filter Skin" is surprisingly easy.
However, our main takeaway from the tutorial was the hero product — Glossier's Stretch Concealer; not because the product itself is a new discovery, but because we've never thought to apply ours like this.
Instead of using for spot concealing, Katie explained to achieve this type of look she likes to use the stretch concealer in place of foundation, to give an all over, lightweight base.
Applied all over the face in place of foundation, using a flat brush — or fingers — leaves the skin with a translucent and dewy finish, or as Katie refers to it, your "first base".
Concerned you'll start going through your pots of Glossier Stretch too quick if you suddenly start using it all over? Katie ensured us (and Rosie) that you'll only need a pea-sized amount to cover your entire face.
