The topic of exercising to improve your complexion recently cropped up in the office, and at first, we thought it was obvious that of course working out (and staying healthy in general) should, by default, better your skin. But then we got to thinking, are there actually any workouts specifically tailored to improve the skin on your face? And if so, why are we not already doing them?
Fast-forward through an entire internet binge later, we're here to tell you that dedicated workouts for your skin do exist. From facial yoga, to "Facerobics", to simple face massages, these exercises might not get you sweaty, but they will "work" your skin. Which, in return, will hopefully leave you looking firmer, smoother and a whole less puffy. Basically, exactly what we're looking to gain from any regular sweat session.
Although these methods might not look serious (we're not going to lie, we may have struggled to keep a straight face watching facial yoga for the first time), they really are worth being taken seriously.
