Ariel Winter may have just forecasted the biggest Autumn hair colour trend for 2020: burnt orange. The Modern Family star debuted the orange-red colour in LA, shortly after wrapping 11 seasons of the show. But this isn't the first time Winter's traded in her signature black hair for burnt orange. Last year, she gave us major Little Mermaid vibes when she experimented with the same bold red hue.

While the contrast is certainly striking, we can't say it's unexpected. On Feb. 7, Winter posted a throwback photo of her glam, burnt-orange hair from the year prior and captioned it, "Can't wait to get back to this colour." Maybe it's because she's a natural redhead, but the lighter hue just seems to fit. As we book our new-season hair colour appointments, we can't help but save her look for major style inspiration. Something about the bright shade just feels refreshing and right for Spring.
