The Hair Product You’ll Find In My Gym Bag, Bathroom Cabinet, Glove Box, Hell, it’s Even in My Desk Draw
If you think my headline is an exaggeration, you're dead wrong. I literally have an Aveda Rinseless Refresh Micella Hair and Scalp Refresher spray in all those places because a) it's a million times more effective for my curls than your standard dry shampoo, and b) because I'm lazy and hate washing my hair.
I've been trailing this product for a few months now because the idea of adding a liquid formula 'dry shampoo' prod to my hair maintenance repertoire was highly-appealing. Usually, I find powder formula dry shampoos tend build up a thick layer of product after a few days worth of sprays, where as I feel like this micellar water works it's magic and evaporates off my scalp, taking all the nasties with it.
It also slides right into my hair-washing routine, which by the way, isn't your standard wash-every-other-day routine. I shampoo my roots one week, condition the ends the next, spray the hell out of it with dry shampoo post-gym, throw in a few salty swims to breathe life back into my curls and thats me. Weird, I know but hey, curls live their best life when dirty, I don't make the rules!
For me, on a basic level, it also does what it says on the bottle and tames my frizzy mane, which trust me, ain't easy. It also gets bonus points 'cause it almost doubles as a sweet-smelling hair perfume thanks to delicious ingredients like jasmine and mandarin, lemon, ylang ylang and other flower and plant essences.
