I Tried the New Brow Trend Everyone's Addicted to and Hello, Natural, Bushy Brows
Truth be told, I've never been very in the know when it comes to all things eyebrow-related.
A reason for this might be because, when I was younger, I copped a a little eyebrow scar after falling off a bunkbed and onto a bedside drawer.
Add to that the serious over-plucking we all thought was a vibe during high school, and I just accepted I'd never be one of those people with killer brows.
While over the years I've ventured to Benefit Brow Bar for a wax or I've added dark-drown eyeshadow into my eyebrows for more of a tinted feel, that was always the extent of it.
But when I heard about this new eyebrow trend called brow lamination, which people told me made eyebrows look natural and bushy, I was absolutely interested because of the natural look it claimed to achieve, rather than a polished, refined result. Before I knew it, I was booked in for an appointment at KOHL Beauty in Sydney.
After a teeny tiny pluck (of what I imagine would be a full-blown monobrow if I didn't regularly hack at it), I was ready to head in for my lamination, which I was about to find out is far less scary than it sounds.
