Dylan Mulvaney Proves Bleached Eyebrows Are Still All the Rage

Dylan Mulvaney is experimenting with a new look. On June 13, the actor and content creator stepped out with bleached eyebrows for the “Asteroid City” premiere in New York, and we had to do a double take after seeing her on the red carpet. With her hair slicked back into a spiky bun like a modern-day Jenna Rink from “13 Going on 30,” Mulvaney’s nearly invisible brows were the center of attention as she posed for the cameras.

Bleached eyebrows have had Hollywood in an unexpected chokehold since last year, with everyone from Vanessa Hudgens to Kylie Jenner hopping on the bandwagon, not to mention their dominance on the runway. The fixation also reached TikTok, where creators devised a bleach-free hack for achieving the edgy look using concealer and setting powder.

Mulvaney first debuted their bleached brows earlier this month and has been dabbling with different beauty transformations lately. They attended the Tony Awards on June 11 with a wavy blond bob hairstyle that made them look nearly unrecognizable. Since catapulting into the spotlight with their “100 Days of Girlhood” TikTok series, Mulvaney has tried out various hair and makeup trends, from bouffant updos and glittery eyeshadow to retro flipped ends and crown braids.
