Regrowth, Be Gone: Freshen Up Your Hair With EdwardsAndCo’s Home Hair Colour Kits
With certain cities and states in Australia currently in lockdown, our usual beauty routines are currently paused. Your appointments for hair removal, manicures and haircuts might be off the cards, but it doesn’t mean you can’t improvise with your own skills for the time being. And, while doing your own mani is doable, colouring your own hair feels like a much larger task.
To lend a helping hand to those wanting a freshly coloured ‘do, EdwardsAndCo has relaunched its Home Hair Colour Kits. Originally created in 2020, the salon has relaunched this offering to its clients in New South Wales. The kit includes everything you’ll need to colour your own hair at home and is used alongside video tutorials featuring EdwardsAndCo founder Jaye Edwards.
Each kit contains brushes, bowls and gloves, as well as colour formulated on each client’s previous salon visit, so you know the dye you’re using is personalised to your needs. The Basic Home Hair Colour Kit ($129.95) has everything you could possibly need to dye your hair, include foil, a mixing spatula, an EdwardsAndCo detangler and a disposable towel.
The Delux Home Hair Colour Kit ($249.95) contains all of the same goodies as well as a full-size Virtue Shampoo and Conditioner in your chosen range, be it Recovery (to nourish hair), Smooth (to soften hair) or Full (to thicken hair). Jaye walks you through how to use the kit in this handy tutorial, so you’re not doing it alone.
The team at EdwardsAndCo is committed to staying connected with its clients at this time, so over the coming weeks, there will also be a range of tutorials covering more at-home hair hacks, so keep an eye on the EdwardsAndCo Instagram account. This will ensure you’re taking care of your hair while in lockdown and consuming some fun entertainment while salons are closed.
This service is currently only available to clients in NSW at this point. If you can’t look at your roots anymore, these kits are perfect for covering grey hair, touching up your regrowth or doing your own root shadow while in lockdown.
