The In-Flight Skincare Routine Elle Ferguson Swears By
If you've ever boarded a plane, you'll be well acquainted with the dehydrating effects flying can have on your skin — especially if you're travelling a long distance. Why does this happen? The high altitude, low levels of humidity and harsh air cause your hydration levels to deplete. So it goes without saying that your everyday skincare routine just won't cut it when it comes to protecting your skin while flying. That's where Flight Mode comes in.
Brainchild of Australian skincare entrepreneur Ryan Channing (he's also launched cult beauty brands BLAQ and Generation Clay), Flight Mode has been designed to hydrate skin at high altitudes and in extreme weather conditions. The collection consists of seven products in total, with the Nano Cloud Mister ($69) being the hero.
"Flight Mode's Nano Cloud Mister is definitely the hero from the range. It's a portable humidifier that works well in and off flight. It's main benefits are to restore hydration in the drying air in-flight and at high altitudes." Ryan told POPSUGAR Australia. "We're also going to be launching three boosters with hyaluronic acid for the ultimate hydration, caffeine to recharge and energise and lavender to calm and relieve the complexion. There's many aggressors we face during travel and off the plane that these boosters will work into your everyday routine." He continued.
Fronting the brand's first campaign is entrepreneur, influencer and frequent flyer Elle Ferguson. So naturally, we asked her to share her in-flight skincare routine and how she incorporates the Flight Mode range. Read on for what she has to say an then, shop the collection before your next flight — your skin will love you.
