Naturally, Hailey Bieber Gives Aura Nails a “Glazed” Treatment

Another day, another Hailey Bieber nail look to bring with us to the salon. On May 3, Bieber posted a picture of her latest set on her Instagram Stories and though the entrepreneur is admittedly a creature of habit when it comes to her manicures, this one had a completely different vibe thanks to the addition of nail art. The manicure was in the model’s typical rounded-almond shape. Then her nails were painted a jelly pink color – similar to the one used in her now-famous “glazed-doughnut” manicure. However, this pink base also featured a hazy white circle in the middle of each finger, creating an “aura” design. To stay true to her roots, Bieber finished the manicure with a dusting of chrome powder for that glazed finish.

Aura nails started to trend in 2022 after being spotted at Coachella and subsequently became synonymous with festival season and the summer months. Bieber’s minimal, shiny manicures have also dominated social media over the last few months so this mashup feels especially on-trend.

Both “glazed doughnut” and “aura nails” are relatively easy to recreate as long as you have some basics like your favorite nail polish color, a jar of chrome powder, and a clear topcoat.
