HaileyTok Watch: What Beauty Product Has Hailey Bieber Used on Her Face Today?

Hailey Bieber is generous with her beauty TikTok tutorials. After all, she’s got her Rhode Beauty skincare line to promote. Where Hailey goes, the beauty and fashion community typically follows, so we’ve dedicated ourselves to providing rolling updates on her TikTok beauty routine.
In the process, we’ve discovered Bieber is more than just a girl with glass skin and a slew of endorsement deals under her belt. She knows her stuff, and is a true product enthusiast with impressive hacks tucked up her Acne Studios sleeves. The only issue? Apart from promoting Rhode, she often fails to mention the makeup products she’s using.
Because we consider ourselves investigative beauty journalists here at POPSUGAR Australia, we’ve committed to bringing you Hailey Bieber’s makeup routine as it changes daily. From eyeshadow as a highlighter to brightening concealers as reverse contouring, we’re learning along with you as we go.
Lip Balm Gate:
Bieber is known, at times controversially, for her classic nude-brown lip looks. TikTokker @misspeytonsmith has uncovered the exact lip balm shade Hailey Bieber wore in her get ready video, which garnered over 25 million views.
According to her research, Nars, Afterglow Lip Balm in “Wicked Ways” ($46) is the sexy cherry-brown shade we’ve all been searching for. It’s certainly got us feeling some way, so head to your latest MECCA if you plan on having the same lips as Hailey Bieber.
Milk Makeup Tutorial x Mary Phillips Technique:

In a video heavy on Rhode Skincare teasers, Bieber applies the Milk Makeup, Matte Bronzer in “Baked” ($36) blending it in with the angled Hourglass, Vanish Seamless Foundation Brush ($78). Bieber then uses two Milk Makeup Blushes in the shades “Smirk” and “Muse”, which are both inexplicably unavailable in Australia. She finishes with Milk Makeup, Future Fluid All Over Concealer ($47) and then buffs foundation over her concealer and contour with a loose powder brush, à la the Mary Phillips reverse contour technique (read about it on our viral TikTok trends of 2023 list.)

NYE Eve Beat: An Opus

Hailey went all out for NYE, so prepare for a lengthy breakdown full of twists and turns.
First, she mixed Chanel, Fresh Water Tint With Micro-Droplet Pigments Foundation ($110) with Rhode Skincare, Peptide Glazing Fluid. She followed it up with her favourite Kosas Concealer, Revealer Concealer ($50) and blended with a beauty sponge. One trick we picked up in this fairly lengthy tutorial was Bieber’s reverse contour technique. She traces a slash of Kosas Concealer in a very light shade from the corner of her mouth to her temples. This technique is all about, to quote the iconic Harrison Ford and Michelle Pfieffer thriller, “What Lies Beneath”. Applying a lighter shade of foundation or concealer beneath your contour creates further contrast, and sharpens up any blurred blending for a more sculpted look.
Bieber’s powder application is also innovative. She uses a pinpoint powder technique, focusing Haus Labs (Lady Gaga’s cosmetics line that’s currently unavailable in Australia) on the sides of her nose, the centre of her forehead, and the lower portion of her under-eye area. By avoiding the upper section of her eye, she keeps powder concentrated where concealer is more likely to crease, because it’s closer to the oily t-zone.
As seen in the video, Hailey loves to layer blushes. As well as creating a custom colour, the technique increases colour longevity as the powder “grips” to the creamier, stickier surface.
Bieber then dabs the Kylie Cosmetics, Lip and Cheek Glow Balm — also unavailable in Australia and sold out everywhere internationally — on the apples of her cheeks. She then “tops things off” with a Bare Minerals, Gen Nude Powder Blush in “Pretty in Pink” ($43).
An unexpected slay that made this writer (who’s also the owner of seven Pat McGrath palettes) gasp? Hailey dips in the Pat McGrath, Mothership Palette VII Eyeshadow Palette in “Divine Rose” ($206), using the two shimmer shades Iridescent Pink and Refined Gold, to add a serious glint to her look.
We sadly cannot ID her lipliner. It isn’t her usual Makeup Forever, Artist Color Pencil in Anywhere Caffeine ($35), but we will be staying on the case.

In her first BeautyTok, she’s spotted looking like she’s on vacay, hair in a fresh-from-the-beach top knot, applying Bare Minerals, Mineralist Lip Gloss-Balm in Sincerity ($37) to her perfect pout. This is the TikTok that launched a thousand Hailey Bieber tutorials. We bow down.
