It's a Pleasing Wednesday! Harry Styles Drops New Italian-inspired Beauty Collection

Stylers, assemble! You’re probably still dreaming about the “Late Night Talking” video released last week, but we come bearing more good news: Harry Styles’s beauty brand “Pleasing” is back with a brand new collection, and it’s exactly what you need.

After the huge success of Pleasing’s first two collections – Perfect Pearl and Shroom Bloom – we’ve been kept waiting four whole months before any news of another drop, but it’s finally here. Meet Hot Holiday: a collection of four nail varnishes and two body products.

The official Pleasing Instagram page teased the new launch in several campaign videos, which featured a range of diverse models having fun on a beach. Did anyone else get flashbacks of the “Watermelon Sugar” music video? Most importantly, the models were showing off some killer nail designs and spritzing themselves with luxurious body products.

The range is inspired by the Italian coast, which seems to be the place to holiday this summer if the likes of celebrity couples Millie Bobby Brown and Jake Bongiovi, and Adele and Rich Paul are anything to go by. The campaign shots are ladened with striped beach towels, ice lollies, candy floss, crisps, and card games, helping to transport us to childhood holidays and sunshine trips with friends.

And the dreamy nail varnish shades look like colour swatches taken directly from a seaside postcard from the Amalfi Coast. They’re punchy and sunny, and with names like Beach Ball, Nonna’s Sorbet, Harry’s Chair, and Wet Bottoms, a splash of these polishes is enough to give you a taste of an Italian summer.

This isn’t Styles’ first try at skincare, either. Fans went wild for the Pleasing Pen ($47), Pearlescent Illuminating Serum ($55), Acid Drops ($55), and Hand + Nail Balm ($39) previously released, but something about the “Hot Holiday” skin care feels more, dare we say it, sophisticated.

The Pleasing Soothing Tonic ($39) and Matte Moisture Glow ($70) are just the products to help you feel refreshed and rejuvenated, whether on a yacht in Capri . . . or in your back garden. If you’re a Styles super fan, you’ll know that each Pleasing launch normally comes with clothing. Don’t worry: some limited-edition “Hot Holiday” apparel is launching on 26 July, so be sure to keep an eye out as we update you.
