Today is a very, very good day. MECCA has announced that they're opening their first-ever flagship store and it's basically Wonka's factory but for beauty lovers.
Located in Sydney's heritage-listed Gowings building, (and opening on Friday, November 27), it will officially be the largest and most-immersive dedicated beauty store in the Southern Hemisphere. Extending across four levels it will not only sell all your favourite beauty brands, but they will now offer a range of services too. From brow bars and facial aestheticians to mini piercing and hair studios by luxury brands like Sarah & Sebastian and Edwards & Co, this beauty wonderland will have it all.
And to top it off, they've also announced goop Beauty will be available exclusively at their flagship store. My body and face are not ready! goop Beauty is the beauty-brain-child of Gwyneth Paltrow that has a cult following like no other.
Each product features clinically proven ingredients at active levels to create skincare, body products and supplements that delivery results. And now, thanks to MECCA, you'll soon be able to shop favourites like the GOOPGLOW Body Luminizer, the GOOPGENES All-In-One-Nourishing Face Cream and the GOOPGLOW Vitamin C and Hyaluronic Glow Serum.
"Australia has been at the forefront of the beauty and wellness trends, and for years, there has been a strong appetite for goop Down Under," said Gwyneth in a statement.
"As the leading beauty retailer in the market, MECCA has pushed the boundaries for beauty innovation and was the right partner to bring our clean beauty offering to the marketplace. This is a meaningful moment for us as we continue to expand internationally."
goop Beauty joins an exceptional line up of new brands — Kylie Skin, Tom Ford, Estee Lauder, Briogeo, Moon Juice, sans [certicals] and Rosorè — that have recently launched at MECCA ahead of the flagship opening.
And in completely unrelated personal news: I will have a new address come this Friday because MECCA's New Flagship store is my home now.
