Overflowing with teen angst and enough early 2000s nostalgia to make our heads spin, the video takes us through the chaos of Rodrigo’s Hannah Montanta-esque life, marking every meltdown with a new 2000s-themed hairstyle. And her hot pink clip-in highlights are just the beginning.
To kick off the video, Rodrigo poses as a ballerina in a powder blue wig with micro bangs before swapping the look for a blonde bob, followed by space buns and a wavy red bob à la Ginger Spice. Channeling her punk rock cheerleader from the “Good 4 U” music video, Rodrigo also lets her inner Avril Lavigne take over for a messy pigtail look complete with flower barrettes that even Cher Horowitz would have to admit make her look like one badass betty.
