Cher Lloyd Announces She’s Pregnant With Baby No.2

Cher Lloyd is about to become a mum of 2! “The X Factor” star made the announcement on her Instagram on 11 April by sharing a sweet video showing an adorable cream baby outfit alongside her scan photo, captioning the post: “Baby number 2, we can’t wait to meet you”. Lloyd is already mum to 5-year-old daughter Delilah-Rae Monk, who she shares with husband Craig Monk, and whose baby hands can be seen in the pregnancy announcement as Christina Perri’s “A Thousand Years” plays in the background.

The 29-year-old singer shot to fame in 2010 when she came fourth on ITV’s “The X Factor” at the age of 16. She later signed to Syco music and achieved a number 1 with her debut single, “Swagger Jagger”. She has continued to release music ever since, with her last single, “Lost”, released in 2020.

Lloyd married Monk in 2013 in a secret wedding, and the couple had their first child in 2018. Although, Lloyd is not keen to have her kids follow in her reality TV footsteps. “If I had a 16-year-old daughter, I wouldn’t let her do a show like that. I wasn’t ready and it just messed with my head,” she previously told The Sun on Sunday.

It’s certainly a busy baby year for celebrities as Lloyd joins former “Love Island” winner Dani Dyer, who is pregnant with twins, “Made in Chelsea” star Ollie and Gareth Locke-Locke, who are also expecting twins, and “Strictly”‘s Neil Jones and “Love Island” star Chyna Mills, who announced their pregnancy last month, too. Congratulations to the Lloyd-Monks!
