Heidi Klum is all about her swimwear – even when it comes to high fashion. On July 5, the 50-year-old supermodel swung by Jean Paul Gaultier’s fall 2023 show during Paris Haute Couture Week wearing a dress that could only be described as half-bikini, half-couture.

The designer’s handcrafted vintage creation was split down the middle, with one side featuring a black, floor-length jersey gown and the other, a bright blue bandeau and matching tie-waist bottoms that resembled a swimsuit. The sultry side of the asymmetrical dress included an extreme side slit, showing off both Klum’s toned abs and long legs. She kept the rest of her look minimal, accessorizing with a complementary sapphire necklace and strappy black sandals.

“@jeanpaulgaultier said to me „this dress you are wearing i sewed with my own hands,” Klum wrote alongside a closer glimpse at the dress on Instagram. “JPG I love you ❤️ always being a visionary of love and diversity in beauty. Beautiful you made me feel tonight.”

The model wasn’t the only one wearing a unique ensemble at the designer’s couture show. Camila Cabello arrived in a multicolored gown that hugged her figure, while Alessandra Ambrosio stunned in a brown dress covered in tiny cutouts. Other stylish guests like Justine Skye, Nicole Ari Parker, and Emma Chamberlain viewed the extravagant collection from the front row.

Klum, who’s currently a judge on “Making the Cut,” is no stranger to a daring look, whether it’s a casual day on the beach or a glamorous red-carpet appearance. She’s been spotted in several sexy swimsuits during her recent Italian vacation, including a striped crochet number and a plunging Versace thongkini. At her last red carpet ahead of the amfAR Cannes Gala, she wore a memorable green Georges Hobeika minidress decorated with a dramatic feather trim.
