Married at First Sight’s Joanne Todd’s past marriage left her feeling broken with little to no self-worth.
Now a single mother to three sons, the 39-year-old barber has joined the experiment to find herself a partner that is also as family-oriented as she is.
Her new husband, James Susler, likes the finer things in life and surrounds himself with a wealthy and luxurious lifestyle, something that Todd is not used to. In fact, during her first episode, Todd said she was more “Kmart” while Susler was more of a “Rolex”.
While on paper their lives may look a little different, it seems that Susler may be a good match for Todd as he is not only a father of three himself but has also has a calm and confident nature.
Susler describes himself as “cheeky chappy” and is usually the ringleader of social groups while Todd is a go-getter, outgoing, adventurous and vivacious.
