Paris Jackson and her brother Prince Jackson attended the 75th annual Tony Awards in New York City on June 12 in support of “MJ: The Musical,” which was nominated for 10 Tony Awards and took home four. Next to her brother’s crisp all-black suit, the singer and model looked stunning in a Champagne gown with gold beaded embellishments, but it was her manicure that really caught our eye.

On the tips of Jackson’s heavily decorated fingers was a 2000s-inspired classic french manicure featuring a neutral base with a thin white line on the edge. Though french manicures have been uberpopular as of late, we more commonly see new iterations of the nail design, like the baby french manicure or the double french manicure. Jackson’s take, however, felt very old school thanks to the short length and squoval shape.

The traditional nail look is a reminder that sometimes going back to basics is best. Take a look at Jackson’s classic french manicure ahead.
