Rita Ora is sticking with the classics. On Oct. 11, the singer showed off her milky-french manicure in a picture on Instagram proving that the nail trend is here to stay for a little while longer.

Ora’s nails were filed into a short, square shape and a milky-pink color was used as the base. A thin “smile line” using white nail polish was painted along the edge of each nail, and a clear topcoat was added for shine. Ora’s use of a cloudy pink base, as opposed to the sheer pink that’s typically used for french manicures, finds her look at the intersection of another popular nail trend: milk-bath nails. Ora has worn the traditional version of the manicure before, so it comes as no surprise that she’s finding new ways to experiment with the trend.

French manicures were a red carpet staple during awards season, and since then, we’ve seen the nail design transform again and again. Chrome, split, deconstructed, and of course, milky french manicures are all new, trendy iterations of the classic. Take a closer peek at Ora’s manicure below.
