Shady Lady: shu uemura pressed eye shadow

This is a post dedicated to the greatness of whichever shade of shadow you or I are coveting at a given moment. Right now mine’s shu uemura pressed eye shadow in M blue 641 ($39) . . . the one on the right-hand side.

It’s bold, it’s bright and it’s blue. But to tell you something that you might not be able to decipher just from looking at it, the pigment is really strong so what you see is what you get – none of this fading malarkey. Also it stays put forever, but comes off freakishly easy. It’s been three days and I still haven’t figured how it manages to do this – be all things to all people – but just be safe in the knowledge that it can and does.

If you use a brush like
<product target="_blank" href="http://www.maccosmetics.com.au/templates/products/sp.tmpl?CATEGORY_ID=CAT6001&PRODUCT_ID=PROD70924">MAC’s small angle one</product> ($37), you can get a liner-style look happening in no time and because this shadow is so rich in colour and has super-strength staying powers, you don’t even need to add water to the mix. Genius.
