To do it yourself, you just need to tie two ponytails — one on top of the other — with the top one covering the bottom pony. The lower ponytail gives the illusion of longer hair, while the top ponytail does all the work of looking pretty. To execute, simply clip up the top layer of your hair and tie the bottom layer into a ponytail. Then, pull the top layer of hair into a ponytail and you’re done.
