Holidaying in the UAE? Here’s the 8 Must-Haves to Buy From Boots There
Whenever I’m abroad, there are two things I always do. Try the McDonalds and pop into the local Boots. Why? You may ask. To see which beauty goodies I can buy that aren’t usually stocked in the UK, because every store is different.
During a recent trip to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), I found that their Boots stores are stocked to the brim with new skincare brands and products that are yet to hit the shelves over here. Then, of course there are countless products that have already gone viral online, including Beesline’s Barrier Cream and Nature Spell’s Rosemary Oil. As an added bonus, there are skincare experts available to talk to on the shop floor, so I had all of my pressing questions about various products answered in seconds by an on-hand pro.
From Zo Skin Health to Lonstin, if you’re holidaying in the UAE, you’re bound to be introduced to a beauty wonder product that could refresh your beauty regime, so make sure you have your Dirhams at the ready. So that you’re prepared for your UAE Boots beauty haul, here are the eight must-haves I spotted and you should look out for.
Zo Skin Health Eye Brightening Creme
Say goodby to puffiness, dark circles and fine lines with this Eye Brightening Creme. This wonder product is infused with retinol to stimulate collagen and promote skin elasticity and shea butter to replenish the eye skin barrier.
Uriage Thermal Micellar Water
Removing makeup and impurities has never been easier thanks to Uriage’s Thermal Micellar Water. Not only does it cleanse your skin, but it also protects your skin from dryness thanks to its moisturising properties, including cranberry extract which is intended to leave your skin feeling supple and smooth.
Mesoestetic Mesoprotech Anti Aging Facial Sun Mist SPF 50+
This non-comedogenic, ultra high SPF is a must-have no matter where you are in the world, but most importantly when in the UAE, where the UV levels can hit dangerously high levels. Mesoprotech is made up of a combination of physical, biological and chemical filters to provide maximum protection and its fresh, fine mist can quickly be absorbed into the skin.
Beesline Everyone Barrier Cream
This lightweight, non-greasy cream is created to strengthen and hydrate your skin barrier. Its three key ingredients include ceramides, to strengthen the skin’s natural moisture barrier, hyaluronic acid to deeply hydrate the skin, giving it a plump and smooth appearance and organic kale extract, which provides antioxidant protection and boosts skin elasticity.
Banobagi Milk Thistle Repair Cream
This repair cream is the ultimate healing product for skin recovery. It moisturises the skin, while defending and repairing any damage and soothing any sensitivity. Its key ingredient – milk thistle – offers long-lasting hydration and relaxes your skin for optimal results.
Lonstin Moroccan Argan Oil Instant Repairing Mask
Moroccan hair products are hugely popular in the UAE, so it’s no surprise that Lonstin has been found on the shelves of local Boots stores. The Instant Repairing Mask is infused with argan oil to hydrate and nourish any strands in need of repair and uses fatty acids, vitamins and silk proteins to improve the softness of your hair.
Filorga Oxygen-Peel Lotion
Want to hydrate and plump your skin? Filorga has you covered. The Oxygen Peel Lotion is a fresh and exfoliating water-textured lotion that gently exfoliates the skin, helping you to regain a radiant complexion by smoothing wrinkles and pores. It also promotes cell oxygenation and is adapted for all skin types.
Swati Coloured Contact Lenses
Fancy changing up your eye colour (temporarily of course) or looking for some Halloween contact lenses? Add Swati’s Coloured Contact Lenses to your shopping cart. You can shop from a range of natural coloured lenses, including Honey Hazel Brown, Jade Green Aquamarine Blue and or try something different with Graphite Dark Grey.
