Bright lights and flashy performances kicked off the 2014 World Cup on Thursday, with thousands of people gathering for the opening ceremony in São Paulo, Brazil. With dancers, musicians, gymnasts and plenty of colourful costumes on the field, the opening ceremony was quite the spectacle. First, traditional performances celebrated Brazil's culture and history, and later in the ceremony, Pitbull and Jennifer Lopez hit the stage together to perform "We Are One (Ole Ola)" with Claudia Leitte.
