Jonah and Channing Ditch Their Cop Uniforms For Suits at the 21 Jump Street Premiere
Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum were back in LA last night for the big premiere of 21 Jump Street (in cinemas today). The pair made a quick trip from Austin, Texas, yesterday to make it to the red carpet after debuting the comedy at SXSW on Monday. The co-stars have been showing up to many of their recent press appearances in the bike-cop uniforms they wear in the film. Yesterday, however, they told us they decided to show some respect for the big occasion and wear suits instead so that their parents — who were in attendance — wouldn't get mad at them. In addition to his mother and father, Channing also had his wife Jenna Dewan by his side. She chose a short, white dress, and while Channing did press, she posed for a round of pictures with Jonah.
Jonah and Channing might have been the men of the hour, but their co-stars in the big-screen reboot of the TV series, among them Ice Cube, Ellie Kemper, Rob Riggle and Brie Larson, also turned out to support the film. Some original 21 Jump Street alums, including Holly Robinson, also came out to see how Jonah and the directors re-imagined their show. The film features a few notable appearances from stars of the TV series like Holly and Johnny Depp, whose appearance was kept under wraps until recently.
