Amy Poehler is a natural fit to voice a character and emotion named Joy, which is exactly what she does in Pixar's latest feature, Inside Out. The comedy genius, who is beloved for her work on Saturday Night Live, Parks and Recreation and for hosting the Golden Globes three times with her hilarious friend Tina Fey, voices the happiest of the five main emotions in an 11-year-old girl's head as she goes through the ups and downs of moving to a new city with her parents.
Amy was in Sydney this week (her first time in Australia!) to promote Inside Out, which is set to join Pixar classics like Toy Story, Finding Nemo, Up and more. Watch our interview with Amy to find out why she loved working on this special film and what the "bravest" thing she's done is. Inside Out is in cinemas now!
