Angelina Jolie Helping Flood Survivors in Pakistan

Angelina Rises and Shines to Meet With Pakistani Flood Victims

Angelina Jolie passed through London yesterday afternoon on her way from LA to Pakistan, where she was up this morning to meet with displaced people at the Kandaro II Camp in the country's flooded northwest region. She sat down with mothers and elderly residents who fear their country may never be the same. The actress is continuing her philanthropic efforts to help those who were forced to leave their homes due to rising waters, after she recorded a PSA with the UNHCR. She spoke today about the area's problems, commenting, "From what I understand the situation is on a scale that we have not really seen the likes of. It's on a huge scale. It is an extraordinarily complex situation, it's not just the floods." Her partner Brad Pitt, meanwhile, has been active lately helping victims of a domestic natural disaster with his ongoing activism in New Orleans.
