Sarah Snook and the Spierig Brothers
It was a cold, wet night in Melbourne on Thursday, but that didn't stop some of the country's favourite film and TV stars from stepping out for the Audi Opening Night Gala of the Melbourne International Film Festival. Recognisable faces like Geoffrey Rush, Asher Keddie and her husband Vincent Fantauzzo, Alyssa McClelland, Melanie Vallejo and Dan Wyllie made their way to Hamer Hall at the Arts Centre for the opening night screening of Predestination, an action sci-fi thriller from Aussie directors the Spierig Brothers that stars Ethan Hawke, Noah Taylor and Sarah Snook. While Ethan and Noah couldn't make the event, Australian star-on-the-rise Sarah represented the cast, and she looked radiant in a Lover dress as she made her way down the red carpet. Most of her peers were actually looking forward to seeing her in the movie, where she plays a man and a woman. She told us that she loved working with Ethan and that he went above and beyond to make sure the movie, which was shot in Melbourne, was the best it could be.
