It’s not just Aussies doing their best to support those affected by the flash floods that have been devastating Queensland. The disaster has caught the attention of A-listers as well, who have shown their support by tweeting to their legions of followers on Twitter. The long list of celebrities sending their thoughts and prayers includes Justin Bieber, Jessica Alba, Glee stars Chris Colfer and Amber Riley, Cat Deeley, Nicky Hilton, Eric Stonestreet, Zooey Deschanel and Adam Lambert, while on the local front Dannii Minogue, Ricki-Lee Coulter, Lara Bingle, Natalie Imbruglia, Erin McNaught, Megan Gale and Alex Perry (who also donated a $2,000 prize to a Sydney fundraiser) have pledged their support for the efforts to raise funds for the flood victims. Twitter is just one of the many ways celebs have contributed — tennis star Andy Roddick donated $10,000 and on Sunday night Channel Nine hosted a live telethon appeal that raised more than $10 million.
