Yesterday Jon Cryer was the latest victim of Charlie Sheen’s tirades, with the troubled star calling his former Two and a Half Men co-star “a turncoat, a traitor, a troll.” But it seems Charlie has had a slight change of heart — he called into an LA radio station and said, “I was in a mood, and I threw that out there . . . It’s a half apology — it’s an apol!”
Charlie has also weighed in on the actors who could possibly replace him on the popular sitcom. Just last week, when John Stamos’ name came up, Charlie said it was a “tragic joke” but it seems he’s back-tracked on this one as well. He said yesterday, “My apologies to John. I was rude to him earlier, John Stamos. That was unnecessary.” The other actor who looks to have a good chance of filling Charlie’s shoes on Two and a Half Men is Rob Lowe, and he’s got Charlie’s seal of approval: “Rob’s an old friend and a brilliant actor. And he’s a beautiful man.” John has denied that he’ll be joining the show and tweeted, “contrary to the rumors, i am not replacing charlie sheen on two and half men. however, martin sheen has asked me to be his son.” Do you have any other ideas for who could replace Charlie if the show goes on?
