Crown Princess Mary and Prince Frederk of Denmark Hold Their Newborn Twins at Copenhagen's Righospitalet

Princess Mary Introduces Her Newborn Twins to the World

Finally, one of the baby moments we’ve all been waiting for! Crown Princess Mary and Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark introduced their newborn twins to the world’s media earlier today as they left Copenhagen’s Righospitalet hospital, where the latest additions to Denmark’s royal family were born. Mary looked radiant and was holding their little son as Frederik held their new daughter. Mary also expressed her sympathy over the tragic floods in Queensland, saying:

Even though we’ve been in our little bubble of happiness here, we’ve been following very closely the events that are unfolding as a result of the massive flooding in Queensland. Our thoughts and deep heartfelt sympathy go out to all those that have been affected.

The twins’ names will be made public at their christening, when they are three months old. Check out all the cute snaps in our gallery!
