Celebrity chef Curtis Stone is gearing up for a reality show, but it has nothing to do with MasterChef — he’s a contestant on Donald Trump’s upcoming third season of Celebrity Apprentice. Curtis hinted that he was going to participate in the show during a trip back to Australia last month.
Other competitors include Sharon Osbourne, Cyndi Lauper, Bret Michaels, actress Holly Robinson Peete, pro wrestler Goldberg, comedienne Carol Leifer, baseball player Darryl Strawberry, Sinbad, Olympic swimmer Summer Sanders, former governor of Illinois Rod Blagojevich, pro wrestler Maria Kanellis, American track star Michael Johnson and Victoria’s Secret angel Selita Ebanks (Nick Cannon’s fiancé before he married Mariah Carey). This time around the teams will be divided into men and women and tasks will raise money for charity. Basically, it’s the usual line-up of lots of “celebrities” I've never heard of or people who could be part of a “where are they now” feature. But I think this could actually be a good career move for Curtis because it will help raise his profile. A cute, blond Aussie with a sexy accent? The Yanks will lap it up. The series debuts in the US on March 14.
