Celebrity wax figures don't always look exactly like the star they're modelled after, but in Ed Sheeran's case, we almost confused his man-made doppelgänger with the real Ed! On Tuesday, Madame Tussauds unveiled Ed's latest wax figure at Lady Dinah's Cat Emporium in London, and yes, they even accounted for Ed's adorable cats. Between the spot-on facial features and the identical tattoos, we honestly had to do a triple take.
"Ed Sheeran is undoubtedly one of the biggest musicians of our time and with his sold-out tour about to hit Wembley this week, it felt like there was no better time to launch his figure here at Madame Tussauds London. And knowing what a pet-lover he is, launching the figure at London's renowned cat café felt like something the man himself would surely approve of," Madame Tussauds General Manager Edward Fuller said in a statement.
This is Ed's second wax figure, as he already has one in NYC. You can check it out in London starting on June 19.
