Extinction Movie Trailer

The Trailer For Netflix's New Sci-Fi Movie Looks Equal Parts Trippy and Terrifying

Michael Peña is a source of non-stop laughs in Ant-Man and the Wasp, but it's safe to say he's dramatically changing course in Netflix's upcoming sci-fi film, Extinction. The trailer for the Ben Young-directed project is pretty freaky, introducing us to Peña's Peter, a working class father who keeps having recurring nightmares of his city being decimated by an unknown alien force. Just when his wife (Lizzy Caplan) and boss (Mike Colter) start to think Peter's dreams are a sign of a serious mental issue, a brutal alien assault begins on earth; it turns out Peter has been seeing the future all along, and could be the key to saving humanity. Watch the trailer above before it hits the streaming giant on July 27.
