Glee Creator Ryan Murphy Says Lea Michele, Cory Monteith, Chris Colfer Not Returning For Season Four

Lea, Cory and Chris Won't Return For Glee Season Four

This is something we should’ve been expecting given Ryan Murphy’s previous explanation of how he’s going to graduate some of his original Glee characters in 2012. The Glee co-creator has revealed that three of the characters who won’t be returning are Rachel (Lea Michele), Finn (Cory Monteith) and Kurt (Chris Colfer). He told The Hollywood Reporter, “You can keep them on the show for six years and people will criticise you for not being realistic, or you can be really true to life and say when they started the show they were very clearly sophomores and they should graduate at the end of their senior year.” He also says that Lea and Chris were involved in the decision-making process. As for who else we’ll be saying goodbye to next year? All will be revealed when the third season of Glee commences in the US in September. Who do you want to stay on the show? And who will you miss the most?
