Glee’s hiatus means any morsel of information we get sends us into a frenzy. Like hearing the previews for the big post-Super Bowl episode and listening to the New Directions sing Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”. And how about the latest news for what songs the Gleeks will be tackling on their Valentine’s Day episode! The set list was recently released and here’s what we can expect: Rachel (Lea Michele) singing Katy Perry’s “Firework”, Puck (Mark Salling) rocking Queen’s “Fat-Bottomed Girls”, Artie (Kevin McHale) doing more MJ with “P.Y.T.”, Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz) singing Babes in Arms’ “My Funny Valentine” and the Warblers (Darren Criss and co.) doing a rendition of Robin Thicke’s “When I Get You Alone”. There will also be a group performance of Paul McCartney’s “Silly Love Songs”. Excited much? I’m already so excited that I can’t believe we still haven’t seen the Christmas episode of Glee yet! What do you think about these song choices? Are they appropriate for an episode that’s all about the holiday of love? And which performance are you most excited to see?
